This website was developed by LIGO scientists at Montclair State University. It has excellent tutorials about the conversion of signals from LIGO into audible frequencies. Please read through the tutorials on this website listed under the heading Sources & Sounds. Some of the animations (especially those by SXS group) do not have sound associated with them. For the others, it helps to wear headphones.
